I expect kids to be kids. We'll play games, move around, take breaks, and let the giggles happen naturally.
And if someone in your family isn't thrilled about photos (yes, I'm looking at you, dads), don't worry. I keep things fun, quick, and as stress-free as possible.
Some of my favorite photographs come from the moments in between.
Dogs are family, too.
Just let me know ahead of time and we'll choose a pet-friendly location. Grandparents and extended family are always welcome, too.
We usually start with the whole group, then break into smaller combinations so the little ones can wiggle free.

Golden hour is worth planning for.
The softest, warmest light happens in the hour before sunset. For families with little ones and early bedtimes, I also offer morning sessions with beautiful natural light.
Fall sessions in Michigan fill up quickly, so I recommend booking 1–2 months ahead for September and October.
