First Smiles
Tummy time, big gummy grins, and those sweet baby rolls, once they can hold their head up.
Around 3–4 months • Studio

Sitting up on their own and full of personality. This is one of my favorite stages to photograph!

The Big One
Celebrate their first birthday with family photos and an optional cake smash in the studio.

Snack breaks are always welcome.
A RELAXED APPROACH
Wiggles and all.
Milestone sessions move at your baby's pace. Snacks, cuddles, and a quick change of plans are always welcome.
Some babies giggle the whole time while others give me their best serious face. Beautiful photographs happen either way.
There is never a need to worry about your baby "cooperating."
Start outside, finish in the studio.
For one year sessions, we can start with family photos outside in the fall color and move into the studio for the last 10–15 minutes for a simple cake smash setup.
Parents and siblings are always welcome to jump in, too.

My cozy home studio in Coopersville has simple backdrops, props, and a clean, easy setup for milestone portraits and cake smashes.
Studio access requires one flight of stairs. Accessible alternatives can be discussed when needed.

My large yard shows off beautiful fall color, or we can meet at a favorite West Michigan park.

BOOKING YOUR MILESTONE SESSION
We plan around your baby, not the calendar.
Babies grow on their own schedule, so we'll choose each session date based on where your little one is developmentally.
Grow With Me clients can reserve their dates early, and we will adjust as your baby hits each milestone.
For 3 month + sitter sessions
Around 3–4 months, and again at 6–8 months.
For one year + cake smash
A week or two before their first birthday.
Because you'll want to remember every stage.
